Research Scientist, Nanoparticle Formulation

The Nanoparticle Formulation Scientist is responsible for driving results in a fast-paced environment by leading and coordinating the activities of the discovery research formulations group. These activities include design of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations to support internal and external discovery research efforts, utilizing in vitro and in vivo model systems, technology platform development, characterization of the formulations, and formulations technical transfer to product development team. The candidate should have extensive experience with lipid-based formulation design, ideally including nucleic acid-based payloads including mRNA, siRNA, and DNA. Knowledge of materials science, nanotechnologies for formulation design, nucleic acids, and general pharmaceutical product R&D is preferred.
